A female whose name was not released was rescued by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) who suffered from the effects of heatstroke on Tuesday. It is not known if the heatstroke victim who is 58 years of age had called for help to the USCG who sent a rescue crew from Fort Pierce Florida to the rowboat that was about 18 miles off the coast near the Sebastian Inlet. By the time that the USCG brought the heatstroke victim back to shore she was taken to emergency services in stable condition. My hope is that the female who suffered her illness makes a full recovery. Link is msn.com/en-us/news/us/...

Heatstroke is a serious matter. She needs to drink more water. I think some people are more sensitive to the heat than others.

@Deepizzaguy .......I had to take showers several times a day when I was visiting my BFF in Oklahoma. Their summers are so hot there.

I have to deal with the heat inside of my relatives home which requires me to drink a lot of water.

@celticeagle I know what you mean since I had to take some showers during the blackout period in 2020 after Hurricane Laura hit the area in August 2020.

I wonder why that lady was 18 miles from shore, in a row boat!

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe she started getting the heatstroke and started drifting out farther into the water.

I am wondering why she went away that far from the shore myself.

@Deepizzaguy I'd be afraid to be 100 yard off shore, in a row boat!!

That was an odd place for her to be in the tropical heat we have in Florida during the summer, Lucky she was rescued,

Wow, she was awfully far from the coast. I wonder if she had drifted out that far? People have to be very careful when boating off the Atlantic coast of Florida, since the Gulf Stream Current flows so close to the shoreline there. You don't have to go far from the coast to get caught up in the current and whisked away northward to never be seen again! Anyway, I hope the woman makes a full recovery.

@Deepizzaguy I wonder if she was badly sunburned, as well as the heatstroke she suffered?
