an odd July Monday

I don't think of July and rain as a pair. Today and tomorrow my world has gray skies and some rain. I woke in the night to the sound of rain pattering on the walnut tree's leaves- had to wake enough to realize what the sound was.
Per usual I got up this morning exhausted. I rarely wake rested. This will come off as strange to some but my Sonny J's (cat) passing still sorrows me. I woke thinking of him. I keep a little computer by my bed. I woke further and let fly a poem before I totally got up and started in caring for the Starving Marvin cats and their medication needs.
I made it to Physical Therapy and let the lady there put me through my paces. Pain is just where its at for me these days.
I also set up an appointment with the Orthopedic folks for the beginning of September. X Rays and then the not shocking news on what is what with my wayward left knee.
May the Goddess bless us all and keep us strong and upright through all the bogs in our lives.

I'm sorry you are experiencing continued pain. I do hope you get some positive options when you see the Orthopedic doctor. May the Goddess look down on you with much favor and help you to feel better.

@celticeagle Truth? I've been avoiding the probable outcome from visiting the orthopedic guys for about 30 years. I will have a cilmb like I've never had in my entire life. Thank you for your kind thoughts.

@sallypup ......But the sooner you address this and get through it the better. It is sort of like my eye surgery. I was so never about it. I mean it's my eye after all. But when I finally got in and had it it was great. It was like a water eye wash. You never know.

@celticeagle I remember debating and worrying about my Leah pup having knee replacement. I asked her Vet if she wouldn't be in horrid pain afterwards?? He said maybe but it was pain that was lessening and heading toward even less pain rather than pain increasing. Made me think and decide to go ahead with her knee replacement.

We never quite get over the loss of our fur babies. I truly believe that they will all be waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge. I hope your Ortho appointment goes well. My left knee hasn't been very bothersome lately. This is the one that I couldn't walk on months ago. Have a good day.

@LindaOhio That's great about your knee. The physical therapist is starting to ask me if I was sitting a lot before I went to the PT appointment. Hint: buns up,lady! That's what she is asking me.

Seeking God's blessings for everyone. Even my knees and unusual cramps in my feet( something I developed after Covid infection) are limiting me in few things. But I keep doing the best I can.

We really could use some rain to cool things down a bit.
