Boutique Day

I had a fairly busy afternoon at the boutique in Baton Rouge today. We had a steady flow of customers that kept me busy and not bored. The afternoon flew by because of that and I had company at the beginning of my shift. The lady on the morning shift stayed to chat a bit. And two other vendors were there working and putting out new merchandise. So we had fun. One of the owners popped in later in the day and brought things from her freezer which had gone out to put in the freezer in the kitchen there. That meant the freezer at the boutique needed cleaning out. I always put my meal replacement shake that i bring with me in the the freezer to drink on the way home or mid afternoon if I am hungry. It does the job! So I removed that and she cleaned out the other things. A few minutes later she asked me if I wanted a strawberry cream cheese King Cake that was in there. i said sure, I'll try it. It's been in there since January because Mardi Gras was early this year. We had a slice tonight for desert and it was fine. You would never know it had been frozen unless you knew!
