Well, Howdy! Once again, I cannot thank y’all enough for your thoughts and prayers and concerns. I’ve pretty much zeroed in on the problem…now, how to deal with it! But that’s for the doctor to decide, not me.
Let’s rock! Here’s another song dealing with rock and roll.
Revolution Rock - The Clash
Well of course The Clash will be on this list. They’re one of the acts who had two songs in consideration for the list, with the other being the better-known “Rock the Casbah.” But part of this countdown is to help you discover new music as well as remember old music.
This is from The Clash’s masterpiece, and indeed one of the best albums of the 1970s. They didn’t write this, but it sure fit the theme of the album so well that it sounds like they did.
It’s funny seeing that “25th anniversary” tag on the album cover on the video. This album is 45 years old now. And it still sounds great.
Revolution Rock
Written by Danny Ray and Jackie Edwards
Recorded by The Clash
From London Calling, 1979
I’m so pilled up that I rattle:

Their biggest hits were “Should I Stay or Should I Go” and “Rock the Casbah.”

I don't know this at all but I would rather have a rock revolution than an actual revolution

I know. The entire “punk”scene is long gone, but I still go back to this album a lot.

I can understand that. I was into punk and new wave back then, so they were a favorite.
