Evening again. Time to cook dinner.

I had a late lunch today as Claudia stayed for some time. It was a lovely time but then I had to have some snacks instead of lunch.
So now I will make a spinach quiche for dinner. I´m sure that I will eat it all tonight.
I washed and boiled the frash spinach. Claudia asked me what would I do with so many but I know that when they are boiled they shrink a lot.
I have cream and a bit of milk, grated Parmesan cheese and plenty of eggs. And I am very happy that now I can (and did) buy the read made dough. Years ago I´d make myself the doughs for pies and quiches. Not anymore!
I don´t know if I´ll have a piece of cake or a fruit. It will depend on the amount of quiche I eat.
But first I have to go to the kitchen and mix everything while the dough is in the oven for a little while.
Chef Ramsay is on TV but I´m not interested. See you later.

I don't make pie crust any more, only buy it premade. With fresh cooked spinach, it shrinks down. I love it creamed! Your quiche will be delicious:)

I do the same. I think that if they did not sell the crust now, I would not make quiches anymore.

@kobesbuddy I did not mind when I was young. But now, I´d rather not have the quiche, pie or whatever.

I really enjoy quiche. A person can add things to make it to their own taste, and in my opinion fresh spinach is a big deal, so good!

It was wonderful. They sell 2 pieces together just in case you want to make a pie. I´ll use the other to make an onion quiche, my favorite.

Green leafy vegetable becomes small quantity when you boiled... I just love eating them. Its nice to learn you had company to have your lunch

Yes. decades ago I had more energy to make the dough and do all sorts of chores and work at home. Not anymore.

They are easy to make now that they sell the dough ready to place on the pan.

It is very easy. I put the dough in its dish in the oven and meanwhile I bet the eggs with an electric mixer and add the other ingredients mixing them together with a spoon. Then I put everything inside the cooked dough and let it bake.
