Our New Neighbor is a Widow

I just discovered that our next door neighbor(at the lot)became widowed in April, 2023. I graduated with her older sister, Sallie. It never entered my head what was going on. She is grieving over the loss of her husband! Sallie and Dennis take her out for dinner, quite often. I'm ashamed that I hadn't reached out, with a card or a personal visit. I've known these ladies almost all of my life! Yet, through COVID I lost track of many people. We were not able to communicate as before the pandemic struck. And now I find out, many women I knew before have become widows I probably owe her an apology, for not responding for over a year Photo: Mine
