My Snack was Cantaloupe Chunks

This afternoon, I finished off the cantaloupe in our refrigerator for a snack. I also included a small amount of cashews. It's a strange combination, but it carried me over until supper time.
With sugar issues, I have to include two snacks every day. One during the afternoon and another small snack at bedtime.
The doctor instructed me to include three small meals and two protein snacks, spaced evenly throughout the day. It's like a second nature now, I'm so used to eating this way.
I no longer need diabetes medication, which made me happy

eating a few pieces of melon is indeed refreshing, it feels like the contents of the stomach are cool and cold when digesting the melon. the sweetness tends to be natural and can control the sugar conditions in our bodies.
do you like making juice using melon? or eat it directly?

I only eat the melon, I don't like making juice.

I try to include one small fruit each day. This satisfies my need for sweets.

This cantaloupe wasn't quite ripe enough, but it was pretty good:)

I still need medication for high blood pressure and anxiety. Not too bad for my age, almost 73.

My last A1C was 5.3, which is considered pre-diabetes.
