Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 72 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 82 but it is supposed to get cloudy later. I think it has something to do with a hurricane. I don't know.
I've been awake for about an hour. I need to eat something. My stomach is rumbling. I have some homemade pancakes in the fridge as well as some fresh pineapple. I'm thinking of making some kind of a pina colada syrup for the pancakes. I don't like regular maple syrup.
No big plans for the day. If it doesn't rain then I'll head over to the pool. There are only 2 weeks left to enjoy it. I really wish they would leave it open for September. It is certainly warm enough for that. I guess they can't get lifeguards when school is back in session.

I've been up for a few hrs, just watching some diy on tv
thought I'd come see who was on here, other than me.
I have to get the 2-50lb dog food bags out of the car &
get them mixed up with the other dogfood I have open
& that's about it for the day that I know of depending on
the weather &how I feeI may do something else I D K.

@NJChicaa When you have 6 med to lg dogs 200 lbs of dog
food last us 2 months being fed once a day.

@2ndchances24 Those 50 pound bags get hard to move. Do you use a dolly or cart?

I'm currently cooking breakfast for the family in between myLotting. I've got the bacon and sausage cooking on the griddle, the hash browns in the cast iron skillet, the sausage gravy is heating in a pot on the stove, and the biscuits are baking in the oven. Pretty soon I will make some waffles in the waffle iron, and possibly some grits.

@NJChicaa It does sound wonderful. It smells wonderful, and pretty soon it will taste wonderful. You probably would like all the stuff I am cooking, well except maybe for the grits. For some reason, northerners don't like grits, but it is a staple for us people in the south. lol
