This morning an animal sounded to be in distress

This AM since the windows were open I heard an animal wailing and it was pretty loud since it wasn't nearby. It is hard to say exactly what it was, but sounded more feline than canine..but it may have been a big kitty like a bobcat. It really didn't last very long. Not certain what it was all about It was unusual to hear.

Yeah, if it had been closer I might have checked it out..but no other noise this AM so the sound carried.

@TheHorse Like a cat with bigger vocal cords. I had one outside of my window one time. That was a bit scary.

@snowy22315 We have bobcats here too, but I don't know what they sound like. Kitty is at my feet right now.

Yeah, usually when you hear distress calls or animal calls tends to be birds.

Yeah, he was on his perch on the opposite side of the room. He definitely heard it though. He must have been really comfortable because I was surprised he didn't go streaking for the open window.
