I Am Rather Disappointed / myLot

But in a good way. I really expected August to be HOT. But, I was totally disappointed. The month started out, here anyway, with rain and today it is only 88 degrees. I was expecting triple-digit days. It has been hot and up in the 90s but not nearly as high as I thought it would be. Now that I say this it may get up there. I hope not. The only bad thing is the air quality. A couple of weeks back it was 187(51 to 100 is not good) and one day it was up to 150. But, I notice that it is lower during the day but gets higher(up to triple digits) during the night. So no open windows or fresh air. Ugh! But I do feel better and hope this trend lasts. I will take some deep breaths in late September. Come on Fall! What are your thoughts on the weather where you are?

Our August has been up and down. Right now it is cooler and supposed to drop into the 40s overnight

I'm glad you're feeling better. The temps were only in the mid 60s yesterday; and they will be in the 70s for a few days...perfect. Monday it will be back up to 90. Too hot. Have a good day.

That is why they have been here the last few days. So nice. Just stuffy in here since we haven't opened the windows due to the heat and the air quality. I finally did open mine last night for a couple of hours. It was so nice to breathe in deep for a change. I just hope we don't get a Cheyenne Autumn here like we often do with several days of heat. Ugh!

@LindaOHio ........I think 70s weather is just fine. Any higher and it gets uncomfortable for me.

Hot and humid and annoying. Opened the door for the AC guy and was sweating. Couldn't be bothered to get to move the bin, so it was a short walk to take out the nasty air filter.

The air conditioner is my room is so fragile looking I don't mess with it. The repair guts were here a month or so ago and had a new panel for it which it hasn't had since we moved in here 20+ years ago. And, he cleaned out the filter as well. So that was sure nice.
