Nature's map of Australia

One of the exhibits at the Narrogin tourist centre was this large wooden mass which is a good likeness of the shape of Australia. A local man who does a lot of woodwork found it while out searching for timber and was struck by its likeness to Australia.
It’s nice that they’ve tacked Tasmania on at the bottom of the piece. Poor old Tasmania sometimes gets left off maps much to their disgust just as Western Australia sometimes gets ignored by the Eastern States.

That is awesome looking, He sure got lucky to find it. Perhaps it was once carved by Aborigines,
