It's a little later than I had intended to make dinner, but we had to go to Dollar General before I could make dinner- so we are going to blame that.
Anyway. If you're an OG follower (ha, I had to do it, even though I hate when people say OG) you'll know this is a meal that I learned to make from Chris' grandma.
The main dish is very easy, two ingredients- then seasoning if you wish. But it's a can (large) of yams, and a can of spam. That's it. Drain yams, pour them into a baking dish then cube up some spam and mix it in. I sprinkle some cinnamon sugar on it and bake it.
I also made homemade Mac and cheese today. The noodles were store bought, but I boiled them and I made my cheese sauce stuff from scratch.
So ha. Part of the meal was a little harder and part of it was easy as heck.
So that's what was for dinner tonight. What went on the table at your house?

I didn't know there were canned yams.
We had hamburger patties (bought in a box), boiled carrots and sauteed zucchini. Zucchini from a friend's garden. Hubby had his in a bun.
So fast and simple.
Now the fridge is depleted of vegetables and we can make better use of our garden stuff.

Yams and Spam. You know I like some weird concoctions, but this one would send me right to the toilet with face down instead of butt down—or maybe both. lol. But I won't knock it if you like it.
I made teriyaki marinated pork steaks on the grill with macaroni and cheese and salad on the side.

@thislittlepennyearns I would not call Spam ham at all. In fact, it insults the pig.
