Worrying.

Why worry? Worrying wouldn't solve the problem, yet we worry - and sometimes needlessly. We worry over big things, little things, the past, present and future. We worry about health, finances, children, relationships - hard not to worry. Can we stop - l doubt it. What do you worry about most? My main worry is trying to stay healthy. What's yours? It is incredibly hard not to worry. I know that God doesn’t want us to worry, but at times I still do. It is nothing in particular. I do my best to shake it off.

I try to ignore it if possible. Think of life's good aspects.

Yes money or lack of it is a main worry because we need it to live the way we should and want. Unless of course we lived on a dessert island and caught our own food. I hope you are not worrying too much. Thank you - l love choosing the photos.

I'm always worrying that my family will be okay, that nothing bad will happen to them.

For me, there is a thin line between worrying and thinking. I think of the worst-case scenario and get ready for it. My worry is for a quick passing instead of a labored one.

I do the same think. Try to find a solution for the worst case scenario, then put it out of my mind.

In an odd, but perhaps predictable way, worrying has made me a fortune. I ALWAYS worried about being poor, and so, I have always worried myself out of the possibility of it ever happening and doing things to ensure it never does.

That aspect of worrying can definitely bear fruit.

@porwest Then there is the retrograde aspect of it. Like - l never learned to ride a bike, l was afraid of falling. I never climbed a tree, same reason. My sister did those things and had bruises to show which could be a bad thing or a good thing. In our early years we lived on an island surrounded by water so my mother kept us away from it - l still don't know how to swim...

@Kandae11 It always depends on what is being worried about. It can be productive or debilitating depending on the situation. If I worry that there may be bad drivers on the roadway with me, I might be more vigilant and drive more carefully. If I worry that my job might be compromised, I may perform my job better and be more aware of what I need to do to protect it. If I worry that my child may fall off the edge of a cliff, I may be more inclined to keep them farther away from the edge. I would then say, sometimes worrying DOES make a difference because it can make us step back and have a different perspective on things we might not have if we didn't care.

I think worry is my middle name . My worrying is a network of things . . . mainly it's about everything related to the unknown future.

I worry a lot, the only thing that makes me stop myself from worrying -intentionally, by knowing worrying is a sin... worrying meaning we are not trusting God, which is a good reason to stop worrying... but then most of the time I was hit by worries when I lost my focus in Christ.

Even when we believe there are some situations where our input is needed - "God helps those who help themselves". One can't sit around and expect " manna to fall from heaven". When we believe , we do our part and God will do the rest to help us succeed.

Apart from mental, too much worrying can actually cause physical ailments.

I used to worry most when we were house-sitting. I'd worry about the pets mostly - dogs, cats, sheep, horses. They would sometimes get themselves into scrapes and have to be rescued.

I wouldn't say worry, but money and health are my main concerns. Actually, I do not worry a lot. I live in the moment.
