Mother Nature's at it again. Thunder and lightning, very very fright'ning... Well, maybe not, but it was quite torrential for half an hour there. Still some rumbles and flashes but it seems to have moved on... just raining normally now, anyhow, and not so windy. What a way to end August.

I like that line, thunder really can be very fright'ning if it's directly overhead There was a thunder storm here last night and it rained for about 3 minutes and the humidity was pretty high at about 60% which was unusual .... thankfully the thunder was off at a distance rather than overhead.

More than enough, we generally only get about 6 inches of rain per year

Glad to hear it's calming down now. There's something oddly peaceful about just rain after all that thunder and lightning. Stay cozy and dry as August wraps up!

I enjoy thunder and rain, but when it gets a bit furious kinds, I am really scared. It's cloudy here now after good sun through out the day. I just want the rain to wait till my daughter comes back home.

Yeah, it's not nice to be caught out in a storm. I'm always telling the rain to wait until I get get home or finished with whatever I'm doing in the garden. No gardening today, sigh.
