I am sure that residents in Clinton Utah were scared when a homeowner discovered a grenade on the ground with the pin taken off of the grenade which caused the homeowner to alert the Clinton Fire Department to deal with the grenade that appeared to be from the World War era. The bomb squad from the Clinton Fire Department came to the scene of the incident when the residents were evacuated as a precaution on Thursday morning. The bomb squad were going to set off the grenade safely before it was determined that the grenade did not need to be detonated. The residents in the three neighborhood homes that were evacuated for a few hours were allowed to return to their homes safely. The bomb squad used an x-ray machine on the grenade and the results showed that the grenade that had the pin taken off was shallow. The Clinton Fire Department do not know if the grenade was being used by the U S military for training purposes. They did determine that the grenade was from the World War II era. I know if I saw a grenade on the floor in my neighborhood myself, I would call the authorities to report the sighting. Link is kutv.com/news/local/wwi...

They really need to evacuate the locals. It might still explode.

Nobody wants to find a grenade, with its pin removed, or in any other state too. It was good it was Investigated, and taken care of.
