This morning our lawn mower man came. When I payed him I told him all about my Mum.going into hospital. He said to send her his best wishes. I looked at my weather app before I went out to the shop. It said something like 52% chance of rain, so I thought I'd wear my thick waterproof coat with the hood just incase, because last time it rained I was wearing my lighter mac with the hood and I got soaked through! I went upstairs to tell Syd I was going out and he was just coming out of the bathroom. When I told him he said, Oh, OK. Then he said I'm going to get my medicine aswell, and I said, Oh, OK. I went back down stairs and went out through the back door with the trolley wearing my big mac. (That's my coat not an item of junk food! ) I went to post a competition entry first from the TV competition, at the post box at the end of our street. This one was to win £9,000 a month for 12 months. After I'd posted my competition entry, I headed off to the shop. I got the TV magazines again as usual, then Syd's bounty bar and a chocolate croissant. Then I got 1 banana to have with my lunch. I got some more strawberries. The ones in the fridge are soft and wet. After that I got some Alpen cereal with no added sugar for me. At the end of the isle where the notebooks are I got a little mini torch like the one I've got, but my one doesn't seem to work well. I have to shake it to make it work, and I'm sure the batteries aren't going. It wasn't long ago that I put them in! So I got a pink one of those. Then I got 2 more bottles of milk and then I went to pay. It came to £15.34. After I'd payed I came out again. When I got home Hugh, our new neighbour, was outside his house talking to some people. I didn't want to interrupt them, so I just came in. Syd was also out when I came back, getting his medicine. (He's just returned home and he's getting a cup of tea.) And it didn't rain on me at all! I was very hot when I came in because of wearing my heavy waterproof rain coat! I came in and unpacked the groceries and put them away. Now I'm watching Homes Under the Hammer again. What are you lot getting up to today? I hope you are all well. Have a nice day.

I’m guessing you missed the word “Tesco” from your title? Just a wild guess there! The Lawnmower Man? That’s a movie isn’t it? I’ve never seen it, but might check it out now. How’s your mum, is she still not home? She must be desperate to get back into her old routine. I hope she’s on the mend and back with you soon.

I watched The Lawnmower Man many years ago and it was so weird, the special effects bit was exactly like what I used to 'see' in my head as I fell asleep. Seeing it on the big screen was just too weird, like letting everyone inside my head!!

Thank you for noticing that! I must have been in a hurry! I meant the guy that comes to mow our lawns! My Mum is still in hospital. No idea when she will be coming home. I've had to ask Syd for some money because I've only got £100 of Mum's money left! I think my Mum is desperate to get back to her old routine. When I was visiting last Friday one of the other patients was being annoying and Mum said, Please get me out of here! She doesn't like hospitals! I hope so too.

Yes, I thought it might have confused someone if I didn't explain that!

It is hot to be wearing waterproofs. I take it Syd is your step-Dad? Sorry if I've missed some info but I've been away from here for the past month. Hope your Mum is doing ok.

Yes, it is hot wearing that coat. I could have worn something lighter but I didn't know if it was going to rain! Yes, Syd is my step-dad. Thank you very much, that's very kind of you.

It's Hugh and Gary. I don't know what relation they are, or if they're gay! But I did see a woman in there one time. Don't know what relation she is either. I haven't talked to them much.
