Can you find the lizard?

I like to keep my eyes open when we’re travelling. There is always something to wonder about or be amused by. At our first campsite, I saw movement on a tree trunk and there was a tiny little lizard. I couldn’t see it in the lens of the camera so just pointed the camera where it ought to be and clicked. Then I had to enlarge the photo to find it but now I can find it more easily. However, it is very nicely camouflaged. Can you see it?

Yes, it’s on the small tree in the background. I think I see it, but I’m not certain. You have a good eye.

@JudyEv — once you see it, it is obvious. But wow, I really had to look to see it.

I think I see it, but I have zero confidence in my abilities, so I wouldn’t bet my life on it.

Once you spot it once, then it's quite easy to find.

I spotted it within a minute or so. They are good at camouflaging themselves with the tree.

It blends in quite well. He was running around all over the tree so I wasn't sure at first that I even had him in the photo.

I saw it but dismissed it as a drop of sap or something. Then I was going to make a joke about him being in the US running for prez...

@JudyEv I'm in Canada... but I guess the premier of my province could also be called a lizard...

I think it is in a small gap below the left corner of the trunk.

It's just above the highest short dark horizongal mark. I'll add a close-up here for you.

Yes, I can see it, little grey lizard almost in the middle of the picture, just on top of the upper vertical dark line.

I wasn't seeing it at first. Seeing it moving would have helped.

Camouflage can make finding these little creatures a real challenge.

I can indeed. I look for movement rather than for a creature or bird. If you can spot some movement, then that is a help.
