I am not sure I have talked about Bob's most recent medical visits. So if I repeat myself here, please forgive me. Bob has had some trouble hearing of late, so I got him in to see his audiologist. He had not had his hearing checked in three years. I wanted to understand the function of him having tubes in his ears as well. The audiologist had nothing to do with the tubes, but was great to give us the info we needed. So the audiologist says that the one tube is out and that his eardrum has healed up completely. She said the ENT would make the decision about tubes but she does not see any reason or benefit from the tubes now that the hyperbaric treatments are over. Bob is having trouble hearing because--his hearing aid has died on the right side--makes sense. The VA is providing him with a brand new set. ENT had talked about the wax build up in Bob's ear(s) and the audiologist says he just needs to have his primary periodically clean them. She was very good, and wrote all this information on the note I sent in. More about other medical stuff probably tomorrow.
