I was surprised when I went to water the plants to see this pretty yellow flower. That is on one of my prickly pear cactus. It was getting late enough in the year I didn't think they would this year.
I was good at the auction. There was some little piggies that I liked except they kept fighting one of the little ones. That is not normal when they are young so I did not bid on them. There was a pot belly pig that sold for 15 dollars. But I don't want one of those. No ducklings so that was easy.
When I got home hubby was trying to get the pellet burner working. It's not dropping the pellets down. We can't figure it out so I will have to call Monday to have it looked at. Hopefully it's something that's still under warranty.

No piggies today...fighting piggies would not be a good time, nope.
I am sure one of these days you will find some good ones that you want to bring home.

I love cacti. I have a lot of small cacti. Most of them are cuttings from my friend Lili´s cacti. She is a pro. She even knows the scientific name of them.

I bought cuttings to get these. I planted one a couple of weeks ago to see if they truly can take our winter.

@wolfgirl569 I usually beg for cuttings or steal them. 
Cacti have no problem in the climate we have. During winter, we just don´t water them at all.

@marguicha These are supposed to be able to take colder weather like we get. But I will still bring my others in to be safe until I know for sure.

@wolfgirl569 They are such strong and hearty plant. I loved to take a piece off at this stage, while it was in bloom, and stick it into a pot of dirt and start another one.

@wolfgirl569 Pigs fight when they are adults, but not when they are only babies. Piglets like to engage in play fighting sessions, not real fights.

@LadyDuck 2 of them kept going after the same one so it made me wonder if something was wrong with that one. I had never seen the babies act like that before. And dad raised a lot of them.

I was just afraid that one wasn't healthy and that means the others could get sick.

It's always a good thing when you can leave a place without spending any $
& you get to see your plants bloom just when you think it won't, I hope your
pellet stove won't cost a lot to fix it cause winter will be here pretty soon.
