Cool and quiet here this morning. The calm before the storm as Steve and Jax will be arriving here in a few hours. It will be good to see them. It has been awhile. He wants to try to put my oven heating element in as it is getting cooler now, I will be wanting my oven. Luckily, I have a variety of other cooking methods, but you can't beat an oven .especially when it is cold out.

He hasn't done anything with it. We found the boat here on the property. They had placed it up near a shed in the common area that I didn't know existed. We were both cleaning it yesterday, to hopefully sell. He is still here though. I will have him look at it before he leaves. He won't get it fixed though.

@LadyDuck Yes, I hope so. It really isn't a bad little boat. He has some electric motors that go along with it, we could probably sell as a packaged deal.

Sounds like a peaceful start to your day! It’ll be great to catch up with Steve and Jax, and having your oven back in working order will definitely be a win as the weather cools down. There’s nothing quite like the comfort of a warm oven on a chilly day. Enjoy your time with them and the upcoming baking adventures!

Getting things in order before the start of a season is the best course of action.
This year I plan to have my Hot Water Geyser serviced.
I think regular servicing is best but sometimes we get lenient or lax.
How is your Sunday shaping up?

I could use a new hot water heater .but has to be on the back burner for now. Sunday OK so far, haven't really done much

That is great that they are taking care of things for you today.
I agree, there are lots of alternatives to cooking, but sometimes an oven is the only way.
I have mine on now, just finishing up some homemade chocolate chip cookies and as soon as the last cookie sheet comes out, I have a nice sirloin tip roast to go in that we will have for supper.
Time for you to start thinking about different meal options based on having the oven working again.

Sunday I got a package. It's a spinner ring. A ring I had had a stone missing so I got this spinner ring to replace it. It's cute. It has cats on it. I hope to get a spinner ring for my best friend.
