Escape Room Day

But I will spend a fair amount of time outside too. Its cool so I will try to finish the chicken run and maybe even the coop today. I am on the final stretch for all of that now.
I need to bring a crate in to hold the chicks so I can clean their tote out too. That is easy. I just take it out and dump it. That will start the mulching around the cactus that I planted in the ground.
It got down in the low 40s F here last night. That is too cool. I covered some cactus starts I have outside in case we got a frost. Those I will be bringing in for the winter but didn't want to yet.

I hope that you get your chicken duties completed today, since they are growing so quickly.
We got cold last night here too, and today isn't warm, the wind is fairly strong and it is cold.
Next week we should rebound and have slightly above temperatures.
I have escaped to the kitchen just a while ago.
I made a nice double batch of chewy chocolate chip oatmeal cookies for my hubs.
He bought me a scratch ticket earlier today when he was out and I have to take it to the store to let them see if I can win anything on the Plinko board, it is one of those tickets-I like them.

We went down to 41 last night. But it’s supposed to be summer again this week and hit the 90’s. Have a good day outside, you are always busy.

Sounds like a busy but productive day ahead! Finishing up the chicken run and coop must feel like a big accomplishment. It’s smart to cover your cactus starts with the cool temps, and mulching around them should help. Hope you get everything done and enjoy some time outside. Have a great day too!
