Another money loss: a new big gas cylinder.

Now that I do all the work at home, there are things in which I spend a lot. One of the things that I do is to hand wash my pots and dishes wich almost boiling water.
The dishwasher never worked too well and finally I had to wash them again. So I started to hand wash them again.
I like to wash with hot suds and then rinse with running hot water. I imagine that if I was younger, I´d save by buying the best new dishwasher there is. As it is, and for a few dishes, it is not worth it.
Today I had to change yet another cylinder, but now it was one of the big ones that I use for the water in my house.
I warmed my hands washing the rest of the dishes, made a delicious late breakfast with scrambled eggs with smoked ham and here I am again. Later on I´ll eat some pasta and a piece of cake.

It was a routine workday with some meetings and work.
We have Lord Ganesha at our home and we need to follow rituals everyday.
He is our guest even in an idol form and we try to give him good food.
Utensils washing with warm water is fine.
Washing them with chilled water when the minimums drop below 6 / 7 C is the tough part.
It is quite testing.
We watch folks in India too buying the dishwasher but we do not have it.
When Coral was active, I had a discussion with her regarding water usage of Dishwasher.
I found that dishwasher saves water but well, one has to get it fitted and spend money to buy it.

It never fails, there is always something we need to buy that we wish we didn't. But hot water is a definite necessity. So you buy a cylinder of water for home use? Do I understand that right? Sorry, things are so different there, and I am simply curious. Of course I am one of those spoiled Americans that just turn on the faucet for hot water, which is heated by the hot water heater.

I've made a big casserole to freeze. It's chicken and apricot so I hope it will be nice.

Today I am going to the lab for a blood test, etc. My husband's 2nd cousin is taking me; and we will pick up my prescriptions too. We like the dishes hand-washed too. Have a good day.
