Dakota McDonald who is a resident of Peoria Arizona was at the right place at the right time on Friday of last week when he was driving his auto on the streets when he saw a five year old boy who has special needs who was wandering on the intersection of 71st and Peoria Avenue by himself.
The child wandered away by himself from Ira Murphy Elementary School when Dakota who is a father himself took the time to get out of his auto to save the child from being hit by other autos by stepping in front of him and guiding away from the traffic danger zone.
Dakota gave the boy a snack that he had in his truck and water for the boy to drink before Dakota called the police who took the boy who has trouble speaking back to his home.
The police in Peoria rewarded Dakota a Citizen Commendation Award for saving the life of a young boy.
I feel bad for the adults that ran the elementary school for their negligence of keeping a sharp lookout of the five year old boy.

That is what I am thinking about Dakota being an angel to the child.

I know what you mean since someone at the school did allow the boy to leave the building without permission.

I'm so glad Dakota saw the boy. The school was very negligent for sure!

I am in agreement with you that the school is in trouble for not watching him closer than they did.
