This post is an important read for those undecided voters trying to decide the direction they want the country to go in. So, let's look at The KAMALA HARRIS OPPORTUNITY ECONOMY... Now that's a fancy name. Just how does that work? From what I've read it seems like more government spending and giveaways to get votes, without worrying about the economic ruin it will leave to the country and most of its citizens (YOU). If you elect Harris President, you can expect (according to some economists), that she will "kill our economy." If you think your money does not buy what it did in the past, with the Vice President's socialist ideals the basis of her economic policy, the value of the U.S. Dollar will have even less purchasing power. *You'll probably after 4 years get more use out of those dollar bills as toilet paper. So, let's continue breaking down some more of the Harris economic policy I mentioned in a previous post. 1. CONTINUED ATTACK ON FOSSIL FUELS AND THE OIL INDUSTRY- Resulting in Higher Gas Prices (Yet Again) *Under the Biden/Harris administration inflation was only 1.4% when they assumed office, and eventually soared to 9% under their economic leadership. A significant result of this increase was caused by Biden/Harris policies like the attack on the oil industry, and overspending on programs, before easing due in large measure from the Central Banking System's rate hikes. - Unfortunately, the recent decline in inflation has not translated to LOWER PRICES, especially with food, clothes, auto, homeowners, property, and mortgage insurance. 2. ELECTRIC VEHICLE INITIATIVES- I wonder what Harris's position will be on electric vehicles. Oh yes, the same as Biden's. Mandating the end of motor vehicles and forcing the public to buy less efficient electric cars. *Shouldn't we have the FREEDOM to choose what car we can afford, not eventually be forced by government policies to make that decision for us. I thought the Harris platform was "democracy and freedom." 3. GIVEAWAYS AND INCREASED GOVERNMENT SPENDING *Harris economic plan proposes $25,000 for any new home buyers, 350 billion for climate initiates, paying for gender change operations, and providing health insurance for illegals. And that's for starters! -Who do you think will be paying for that spending package? Right, you! 4. ADVOCATES PRICE CONTOLS ON PRODUCTS- a socialist plan which has never worked effectively in any country who tried it. *Price controls typically "drive-up inflation" by forcing businesses facing higher input costs to charge higher prices to consumers in order to avoid losses and survive. DO WE REALLY WANT TO GO THERE AGAIN! Kamala Harris wants price controls to pretend it’s not her fault you can’t afford groceries. -V.P. Harris’ tie-breaking votes advancing two Senate bills, the American Rescue Plan of 2021, and the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, contributed to increased federal spending by more than $3 trillion, translating to at least 6% higher U.S. consumer prices, causing “AT LEAST HALF OF THE EXCESS INFLATION" that occurred between 2020 and 2024. (Source: Wall Street Journal) Final Thoughts: - Remember, Kamala Harris has accomplished nothing on her own at the Federal Level. She has "no viable economic plan." The only thing she did as a senator was co-sponsor a government controlled "National Healthcare Bill" with Bernie Sanders, which would take away your private health insurance and freedom to choose this kind of coverage. Of course, this bill was soundly defeated and never became law. *That bill was a threat to "citizens' rights on healthcare". Thankfully, Kamala and Bernie did not get their way. Three cheers for democracy on that on that one!
