i missed baking

I Missed Baking.

I cannot remember the last time I bake. Maybe months ago or a year ago. It is just too hot to bake. You know that we only have two seasons here, dry and hot (summer) ang wet and cold (rainy). And during the days when there's no rain or typhoon, the temperature is somehow still hot. The whole gets hotter when I bake.

. Not he whole house but the kitchen and dining area. Also it is easier to buy cakes nowadays. With one click in the app, it will be delivered to you. But I enjoy when people are happy eating what you made. But I hope I can bake this weekend.

I never bake during summer, the kitchen gets too hot. I will resume baking tomorrow.

Yes, I did not bake last summer and the hot days. It is only recently that the temperature goes down a little that it will be not so hot to bake. What will you bake?

@rakski I tried baking some cakes without an oven.

It was a trial and error way, but they were successful ones. I wish I could have the real thing when it comes to using the oven.

I remember you used to bake and bake and bake!!!! It is too easy to buy stuff, but it means so much more when you make things with your own hands. I hope the conditions are right this weekend so you can bake!

Yes, I bake a lot during the pandemic and a year after that. But I lessen it as it got hotter and hotter and the summer here feel like you are in an oven unless you turn on the AC

@rakski We don't use the AC here (yes, we are crazy that way), but that also means we won't dare turn the oven on during the seriously hot days. Right, it heats up the whole house.

I hope you get to bake again. I used to bake a lot when we were still in the province. I had space for an oven, and I would usually bake when the weather is colder. I don't bake often when the weather is very hot.

I use to cook/bake ALL THE TIME. I unfortunately got diagnosed with a chronic illness and now it’s monumentally difficult to make a simple dish. I still cook but unfortunately I limit myself to one homemade meal a week, though I’m attempting to raise that to two homemade meals per week! Baby steps! I currently take muscle relaxers which have been helpful!
