Luce Fire Department was dispatched to a home in Indiana on Tuesday evening they teamed up with the Spencer County EMS and the Spencer County Sheriff's Office to deal with a person who had a medical emergency.
In a case of being in the Twilight Zone, a monkey that belonged to the person who had a medical emergency managed to climb up the building and could not get down.
The first responders took care of the person who needed to be taken care of while the firefighters were able to rescue the monkey and have the deputies take care of the animal while EMS took care of the owner.
What happened to the medical emergency victim was likely taken to a local hospital although the identity of the victim and gender is not known.
An odd rescue story from Indiana.

Yipe. Hm...now I'm trying to think up scenarios that would be "Twilight Zone" worthy. Maybe the monkey started telling the rescue workers how he was actually a being from another planet and they had to help him get home....(cue Twilight Zone theme...)

That could be a good idea for a Twilight Zone with the monkey claiming to be the partner of a young female heroine.

I thought that monkeys were cleverer than that, but maybe it was spooked because of the medical episode to its owner. It looks in a precarious position there in the photo, and if its arm strength gave out it might have fallen. It was good that the firefighters could rescue it, an unusual event for them to deal with too.

I am in agreement with you. The monkey was likely scared of the events of what happened to his owner.
