Just watched storm chasers videos most of the day. Didn't get up till after 10am. I got up so early yesterday in case we had to leave..made up for it today. LOL We had grilled burgers and onion rings for supper. Landlord will be here tomorrow about the leak. Everyone have a Wonderful Weekend...I am now watching that New Storm system brewing down south.

Grilled burgers and onion rings sound delicious. As for me, it won't be a do-nothing day. We have a party at our house tomorrow and we have to toss the house. lol

@Ghostlady We joke about that often. It takes 5 hours to clean it, it's destroyed again in 5 minutes, and we spend another 5 hours fixing it. lol

I guess it's hurricane season there now. It sounds like Helene was pretty bad.

Yes it seems like it was worse ON land than at the shoreline. When Michael came through, he went Slow, and kind of lost strength once on land. Helene was moving over 20mph when it hit. The force of the storm and the speed made it far worse than Michael...IMO. I watched storm chaser videos yesterday. Seeing the wind like that reminded me of Michael. After Michael we had no cell phone or internet, so we had no idea the damage it had done for 3 days...and even then very little info. It took 2 months to get our internet/cable back on. I feel so bad for the people affected by Helene. She truly was a B&tch. Just saw some videos of North Carolina...WOW!!!
