Eddie Hunnell who is a resident of Wake County North Carolina was at the right place at the right time on Tuesday in Ashe County when floodwaters managed to get a home that was occupied by Leslie Worth who was trapped inside of her home.
Eddie who was visiting his son's wedding when he took action by jumping into the raging floodwater to rescue Leslie who needed his help.
Eddie who has experience as a lifeguard and a swimmer was able to rescue Leslie by getting her out of home and into safety by taking her to the shore.
A GoFundMe account has been set to help Leslie recover from her tragic circumstances in the floodwaters.

That is a hard story, trapped in your own home, and she was lucky indeed to be rescued, and her life saved.

That is true being trapped inside of a house during a thunderstorm is not for the faint of heart.
