A male dog who answers to the name Barbas is lucky to be alive after he spent 12 hours inside of a bumper of a female driver who accidently struck the dog on the road on Monday in St. Lucie Florida. The female driver took her auto to St. Lucie Battery & Tire where a St. Lucie animal control officer came at the request of the manager of the repair shop Lenny Cruz to remove the dog from the bumper safely. Barbas did not suffer any serious injuries in the accident. It is evident that Barbas has a Guardian Angel who took care of him. Link is upi.com/8961727717044 via @upi

When she hit the dog, she did not know that the dog was trapped inside of her bumper until she heard the whimpering sounds.

Maybe, the dog jumped up behind the bumper, when it got hit, and at least this might have prevented it from being run over too. Yes, surely, its Guardian Angel was working overtime here, as the dog was not seriously injured.

Wow, isn't it very uncomfortable for the dog to be inside the bumper, I mean it gets hot when the vehicle keeps moving. I am glad the dog is fine, but he looks pitiful in the photo.

Barbas is a lucky dog. Not everyone is lucky to survive or to be rescued or to be taken care of. Bless the heart you who took care of the poor thing after all thsi ordeal. I am unable to understand why the female driver took long to realise there is a dog stuck inside the bumper. Believe, the dog would have been making some noises atleast in some pain as it is stuck inside the bumper. I am glad to see things went out well and the dog was safe at the end. Thanks as usual for sharing such good incidents!
