Movies: the best ones with sequels.

Each of us has some favorite movies and many of the had sequels. Some were good, some not so good.
Of all the movies I´ve seen with sequels, in spite of good ones like Star Wars and the several Harry Potter movies or The pirates of the Caribbean, the one I have liked best by far has been The Godfather.
This is the only movie as I see it, that was as good as a very good book. The actors were terrific, the plot as perfect and we also learned a lot there.
Which is your favorite movie with a second part?

I've never seen The Godfather, and I dont have a lot of interest in it. I have seen all the Harry Potter movies several times. Most of the Star WArs movies several times, and I think all but one of the Pirates movies.

I saw the 2 first Harry Potter movies with my grandchildren. But then they grew up and went with their friends. I wasn´t invited.

@marguicha You could still watch them. You don't have to have the grandkids to enjoy movies.

@LadyDuck I thought that the sequels of the "pirates" could only be more of the same. For me, the movie was basically the wonderful way that Johnny Depp played his role. I don´t even remember the girl or the boy.

@marguicha - Orlando Bloom was in Pirates of the Caribbean, cute boy when he played this role. The girl was Keira Knightley. The second was very good, the third not interesting, the fourth garbage. I totally disliked Penélope Cruz.

@marguicha - I loved the first one and I wanted to watch the second and then the third. The second was not bad, I did not like the third and I stopped there.

To put me into a really good mood I enjoy all the American Pie movies, I have never even seen the original Godfather,

I loved the Twilight movies and Pirates of The Caribbean. I also like The Hunger Games, Harry Potter, and Star Wars movies.

Rocky II which came out in 1979 with the line at the end of the movie which was "Yo Adrian! I did it!"

Godfather was very famous when I was younger but I never had a chance to watch it.
But anyway aside from Harry Potter I guess Rush Hour is my most favorite one! I hope they can do another follow up I won't mind watching it again.
