Sterling Heights Michigan resident Marysoul Mousa-Agrawi was on her way to work on Thursday morning when her neighbors alerted her that a four-foot alligator was underneath her auto. Marysoul contacted the Sterling Heights Police Department to inform them about the incident. When the police officers arrived on the scene, they contacted employees of the Reptarium who are zookeepers to remove the alligator from the residence. The alligator was taken to a local zoo to be taken care of. The police believe that the alligator was let loose by its owner and an illegal pet that was owned by someone who is not allowed to have exotic pets in the city. How can one own an alligator without public reporting to the police?

It upsets me that the owner let the gator go if that's what happened. I'm glad the gator will be taken care of at the zoo.

Luckily the neighbors alerted the woman! I think only zoos should be allowed to have exotic pets, especially alligators of that size.

I am in agreement with you since I knew of some celebrities who are no longer with us who owned exotic pets.

Why would you even want an alligator has a pet. You could not take care of it when it got bigger. The owner should have called wildlife to come and get it. Do the right thing.

It would be quite frightening to find an alligator under your car.
