Talk about a strange morning.

George just had his medicine and the heat is back. We knew the cool wouldn't last long. He was on the front porch, when someone from Good Leap came to take pictures of our solar system and serve me with a dequlent notice. Something I already know about. I have a phone number I can call. If they sent us mail, it's probably in the pile of mail that's been climbing since George wound up in the hospital. Back in november.A lot piled up. So, hopefully they'll be understanding and give me payment options or let me put the balance on a credit card. At least with a credit card, so I have a bit more control of my payments.

They didn't, not really. Well, kinda of. I still had to pay my past due bill and they just added this months onto the end of my loan extending it by a month. People in the U.S. aren't sympathetic to finical hardship. And, while true I'm sure they've heard it all before.

@kaylachan .........Do you have any stimulus checks coming? It is an ongoing dilemma but surely there is some way to get some help.

@celticeagle No, we're not expecting any. I never heard of anything. The last ones were during the Trump administration.

Tell them to be nice. A quick phone call to them should resolve the issue.

I know they will understand. When my family got sick and we are behind paying some bills, we talk to one of their customer service, and when they learned that we got hospitalized they gave me an option, they let me pay my unpaid bills for 6 months in staggered payment.

Here in the U.S. People are greedy. They want your money and don't care if you're facing hardship. Often times payment options knock off a few dollars, but still expect their money.

Well, you should call them. At least you are willing to settle the bills. Most of us go through that time as well.

Sorry about the deliquent notice, probably not the best way to start the day. Yeah, hopefully they'll be understanding and provide an affordable option.

I know I've been behind on bills. And that's not really fun. I have a little money left over, but I also have to set some aside for a rainy day.
