Luna will have to change her habits or go hungry. I can give her snacks of food for humamn beings but I will not give her all my food.
Today I found a delicious chicken breast soup but I did not want to eat it. I was making a jello and evaporated milk dessert for me and I had already eaten the second artichoke.
So I added some hot water to it so that it would not be so cold from the fridge and I gave it to Luna.
Luna has a dish for her normal food and another for snacks. So while she was drinking the soup with great pleasure I filled her dish with pellets. But after she had drunk all the soup she did not even go near the pellets. So be it. I don´t care. I would if she was ill. But she is just a picky girl.
I have the idea that I will eat all that dessert today by myself. I licked the beater and it is delicious.
Tomorrow Anita is coming and I´ll think about what to do. I can´t give her snacks as I sometimes eat when I´m alone.
I could make some hot dogs the way I like them. They have all sorts of extras, not just mustard or mayo. And I could make a giant salad if the day is warm enough.
Now I´m ready for a late nap. See you later.

I made a running water devise for Luna that only needs a drop of water that falls into a plastic pot. That way, if I decide to stay out for the night, she won´t be thirsty.

@TheHorse I always have fresh water for the cats even with an occasional ice cube but Freddie enjoys drinking cold water from my cup and will even have iced tea

@RasmaSandra I would not want Luna to drink in my cup. I did not even let my own children do that. I AM picky.

I got lucky my cats started on Friskies dry food and don't touch people food, The only thing they do like is when I open a can of tuna for myself and then I give them a little,

Luna always ate pellets ever since she came here when she was 2 months old. But I do give her snacks when I have them. I already know what she does not like. When I open a can of tuna for me, the water is always for Luna. I dissolve it in more water as it could have too much salt.

Luna eats only what she needs. I think that it is because she has never been hungry.

I feel for her though, it might be too hot for the pellets so she'd rather have wet food. But at the same time, you can throw away all the pellets because she doesn't want them anymore.

She has never eaten wet food. And I will not buy her expensive food. She is a bif dog and I live on a retirement pension.

@somewitch I once put water into her pellets and had to throw them away. When she eats pellets, she wants them dry.

@marguicha I see, I'm not familiar with dog food prices but I get she needs to eat a lot. I don't know if she'd like wet pellets but it might not be worth the risk if she's so picky.
