Melody Hendry who is a resident of Abilene Texas was inside of her bedroom on Monday evening when she heard a noise from her fuse box which started a fire. Melody called her son Gabriel via the telephone to ask him to come and rescue her since the fire began to spread in her room. Gabiel was visiting a neighbor next door when he went to rescue his mom by breaking down the back door of the home and rescue his mom to safety. The bad news is that the home was destroyed and the couple will have to live in a hotel courtesy of the American Red Cross and a church where Melody is employed as a daycare worker. The relatives of Melody and Gabirel are asking for donations from GoFundMe to assist them find a new home and meet their basic needs. Melody is grateful to have her son save her life since material items can be replaced but a life cannot be replaced. Link is msn.com/en-us/lifestyle...

@Deepizzaguy ........I have a hard time choosing which I think would be worse. Water or fire. I am afraid of the water but fire would be awful.

Most parents will say that their children are a blessing, but this is really truth of that. Thankfully, he saved her, anything lost, can be replaced.

I am in agreement with you since it takes a lot of courage to enter a burning bedroom to rescue someone.
