Firefighters in Alabama rescue a female goat fell into the bottom of a well

Thanks to the efforts of the Brierfield Volunteer Department in Alabama who answered an emergency call that a female goat who was pregnant fell down the bottom of a 20 foot dry well on Monday evening.
Firefighter Gavin Brooks had the honors of rescuing the goat by being lowered into the well according to his boss Assistant Chief Jackson Chance.
The goat is in good condition after she was rescued by the firefighter.

Of course thats a good ending to that story but I have to wonder what the goat was doing that it wound up in the well.

The goat most likely did not see the dry well in the dark.
