What a Weird World: # 15 / myLot

It is time for another look at the weirder side of things. This next project comes to you from the kitchenware section of World Market. If you've read any of my posts about International Snacks or Candy, you know I love a good trip to WM- but this is even a little odd to me. It's not that it's even an odd product. The product itself is pretty normal. It's a coffee cup. The weird comes in what the coffee cup is shaped like a scooter. Who was sitting at World Market headquarters and was like.... "Do you know what we need to sell?" ..."Coffee cups shaped like small vehicles." I mean really, what was that pitch meeting like? I really want to know. I suppose it would be cute with pens or something on a desk, but otherwise this seems like such a weird shape for a coffee cup. So what say you? Is this a steal or no deal?

I looked at the picture, before I read the post--for some reason, I thought it was (please don't laugh!) a little vehicle for a doll to ride in, or a toy of some sort. I should have given it a bit more thought--I mean, this series is about unusual things, not what we expect! A duh! moment for me. It's cute...but I don't think I would drink my coffee out of it! I would probably put a plant in there.

It would be good for a plant. Come to think of it a Mary Jane plant would look cute in it. lol

For a decoration, maybe? You're right. It's not all that weird. But it would never be a cup I would personally ever use. I always use traditional run of the mill mugs.
