Who likes oranges?

I wrote a popular discussion about apples, so I thought I would give oranges their fair shake. Oranges are fine, and also good with certain foods. They are quite nutritious.but overall I don't like them as much as apples since you have to spend some effort peeling them. Which do you prefer oranges, or apples and why?

If I have an orange, and I don’t often do, I sprinkle cinnamon on top of a halved one, and enjoy it that way. It’s delicious.

I never tried that. Maybe I will next time I have one. I bet the cinnamon sugar blend would be good as well.

I like both. I like Navel oranges, those with the thick peel, easy to peel.

@LadyDuck They tend to be sweeter, but some are actually more sour.

Oranges are very acidic; and I tend to stay away from them and orange juice. I really love cranberry juice. Have a good day.

I am sure some people shouldn't eat them.

I love oranges, clementines, apples, most all fruits. Oh, and the occasional grapefruit, too. Pears are delicious, and peaches, only in season, not year round. I like grapes, preferably red or dark purple. Why? I don't know..I just like them!

Concord grapes have a really good flavor. I just don't like the seeds in them

@snowy22315 I'm not fond of seeds, either. And cherry pits are deadly weapons!!

I love oranges...sweet ones. Have had a few that were almost asa sour as a grapefruit. They DO take some energy to eat. Love Apples..especially granny apples dipped in caramel. Fuji apples are my 2nd favorite.

Not a fan of orange juice, having to peel the real thing seems even worse. Apples are fine, but I prefer the unique flavor and texture of pears.
