Perplexing Mood to be in

The last week or so I have felt very perplexed. Yes, puzzled and very baffled indeed. I have read MAGA's opinions on my posts about the Putz. I have even gotten some very nasty remarks back on Facebook. I just cannot believe that so many people I really thought were intelligent human beings could be so devoted to such a man. I could even say I am depressed. I shake my head and I wonder what is this country coming to. What is this man letting happen? He is devoted to a leader who had a man poisoned and let die because he opposed him. He is a man who doesn't care about humanity and only puts forth an effort toward those who agree with his madness. A man who promises to put the military and national guard in the streets to arrest those who merely choose to disagree with his ridiculous ideas. A man who wants to use the government as only an opportunity for self-enrichment. He cares nothing about this country or its people. Just what he can get out of it. His, and those of his chosen VP, ideas scare me with their evil and disgusting ideology. Yes, I am depressed and disillusioned. I just cannot believe that otherwise smart people are actually believing in this vulture. I will turn 73 in ten days. I have seen a lot in those years. A lot of goodness and magnificent leaders in our White House. I've seen what the orange man has done while he was in office too. I can't believe anyone could possibly want him back. I just shake my head. I have voted and am proud of that vote. I stand by it. I want to see the experiment that started this country continue. I don't want to see a man with such negative intent have his way here ever again. The vote is close and we will soon see if the majority of American citizens still want a democratic way of life, or, if they really believe the gaslighting and idiotic drivel he and his cohorts have spewed these last few months as true and good for our country. It won't be long now. I will be watching.

It’s hard to fathom; however, we’re having a living history lesson right now, answering the age-old question of HOW could the Germans have been so hoodwinked by Hitler. There’s also “always” been an element of gravitation to/admiration for the vile. Consider how many kids who’ve either carried out school shootings or threatened to do so have cited their love of the Columbine killers. I mentioned to someone else that I’ve seen t-shirts with Charles Manson’s face on them. I was reading something a former myLotter put on Facebook yesterday, about how EVANGELICAL CHRISTIANS (you know, the people who love the Bible and think everyone should live by it) have been chiding pastors who’ve been using “liberal talking points” in sermons. The “liberal talking points” in question? The Beatitudes (or the “Sermon on the Mount”)! These people are even trading in God for the man. Prophesied in the Bible (2 Timothy 3), but very disturbing to see.

It certainly is. They do some things for the attention but following him is ridiculous. Are these that void of any good sense or convictions?

@celticeagle — if’n you want my opinion, and this is JUST my opinion, I think that the good ol’ boys (alpha-type white male) remember what they did to the American Indians, the blacks, the women, and the religious minorities in this country when they were the “majority,” and they’re afraid that the same thing is going to happen to them should another ethnicity become the “majority.” Again, JUST MY OPINION.

@celticeagle There's probably enough unofficial militia out there that would jump in.

I have unfriended people on fb for posting threatening type things. I always let them know why. Not because of who they support but how. Here I ignore most political posts for peace and sanity. Same with religious ones. I am just hoping enough people in the right areas are voting smart.

@celticeagle I had that happen when Obama ran. One guy I graduated with started posting that anyone who voted for Obama was a communist. I unfriended him right away

I was shocked and saddened at the number of people that showed up for the rally in NYC at Madison Square Garden. It even included one of our own members. Have a good day.

I saw that. It all so vulgar and lacked any semblance of class. Nasty.

@divalounger She's very devoted to Trump. There is a male member that is all gung ho with him as well.
