Sunny Monday

Happy Monday Everyone! it's sunny and nice here this morning. No rain and we've hit a record for days without rain. We have drought warnings now and also warnings about fires.
Yesterday there was a bad fire at a nearby mountain and multiple fire companies had to respond. My son in law is a firefighter and his engine company was there all day and it still wasn't contained by dark. It's really scary that everything is so dry and we have to worry about wild fires now.
My daughter has jury duty today so she was out of the house pretty early. So, I'm home alone. Well not entirely alone as the pup is here and being a pain in the butt. She knows her mom is gone so she's out of her regular routine. Usually she will follow her upstairs when she goes up to work but now she's whining and I can't figure out what she wants. Grandma is failing at dog talk.
Not much planned for today. Just the usual stuff to do around the house and I have to figure out what to make for dinner.

Do your pets need some medication?
Forest Fires can spread fast and are dangerous for people, including firefighters.

We are having the same warnings about dryness and fire danger. It might rain this weekend though..will find out more from news at 12

I alsos thought it was a sunny Monda6y until I heard thunder at 2 in the afternoon. We had to rush and cover what was being dried out and within minutes it started raining

It started out like it wanted to rain, but I'm seeing sunlight. So I'm guessing it'll be a sunny day.

You had a nice day and we had clouds and a light rain just recently.
Hopefully tomorrow will be a brighter day.
I had a really really busy day at work today, and my brain feels exhausted.
Between the old body feeling out of whack yesterday due to the time change and now the brain from working, I hope that I have an easy evening tonight.
