Ugh, I hate having muscle cramps. It usually happens to me in bed, if I stretch my leg out too far. I am really careful not to do that now...Cramps can really be very painful.

@rakski Then it could be lack of some electrolyte - Magnesium?

I get those muscle craps in my legs sometimes so bad. You can't move...the pain is horrible. I had one last week that left my left calf(lower leg) with a huge knot and it was sore for two days. I think it was one of the worst ones I ever had, and if I never do that again, it will be fine. I am sorry you have them, I know they are miserable.

@MarieCoyle true.
I have a high pain tolerance but the fact that you can't move the leg is so frustrating

You need to get hydrated more often. In other words, have more water. I too had this issue earlier. It was always painful with cramps. You want to jump up but the pain does not often allow you to be free. But once I increased my drinking , all of those ceased to exist! Did read somewhere as well it is due to dehydration as well . You do not have to drastically increase your drinking of water to 5 litres and all! Just drink normal 2-3 litres everyday and in case you drink that amount increase upto by 1litre and see. Hope now things are better and it was a good thing your husband was around .You got a good weekend to relax and well have a good restful time.

One hour ago when I was getting out of bed, my right leg suddenly had cramps. Ugh.
The last time I remember to experienced this was when I was pregnant. Good thing hubby was there to stretch it out. It still hurts though.
