This article keeps turning up on my computer feed about a banana duct-taped to a wall (considered "art") that sold for six point two million dollars.
Really!?!? Of all the ridiculous things. If I had that kind of money, I certainly wouldn't spend it on a piece of fruit that I could duct-tape to my wall so it could rot.
I guess that if you're super-rich you don't think clearly?? And what about the "artist"? What on earth made him think that was a good idea?
If you really thought that was art, go buy a banana at the grocery store and some duct tape at the hardware store and stick it to your wall for much cheaper!

This is a prime example of someone having more money than sense. I wonder if that was the artist's point - proving that people will buy anything if they're told it's art.
I certainly wouldn't buy anything like that if I had that kind of money. I'd sooner buy actual art from my friends and local artists.
