Hot and Thirsty.

These are two prominent symptoms I felt a few hours ago that led me to take my BP. It was my hubby asking me to take his BP so I took mine after him. And to my shock, my BP was 160/120. I took one med and drink cold water and relaxed my mind and body. It is now 120/75. This is the first time I felt symptoms when my BP is high. I used to be asymptomatic.

This is the first time I encounter this associated with my BP. I'm always asymptomatic or there's no symptoms at all for me.

@rakski I have a monitor and I do not trust it But I trust what I am feeling When the BP is high I get indications. I have a facility here where they come over and check my BP It is now normal.

I monitored it. I took one med. I usually take my meds every morning. I drink lots of water, I put ice on my nape, and relaxed myself

How old are you? Age and lifestyle play a significant role in your well-being. Being overly emotional and stressed can raise your blood pressure, while a calm and content lifestyle helps maintain a balanced mindset, which in turn supports healthy blood pressure. Embrace a peaceful life with a positive attitude, and you'll be more likely to live free from health issues. Remember, everything is already destined—trust the process.

I don't think emotional stress affects my BP that much. Though lifestyle change is very much needed and sleep as well.

It's good you were able to get your blood pressure to drop.

Too high, you should probably be on a reduced sodium diet, and at a minimum sip water all day, do light exercise and eat fruit. A beetroot supplement you can find it capsule form would be good for you too.

Have a good rest. Is drinking water and peeing is a good way also to lessen your BP? But anyway make sure you are not dizzy and if you are just sit down and rest.

Do you know why the spike? Is it because of the hot weather?

I had BP problem when I had trankaso with fever. I took neozep and bio flu at the same time, had no idea it triggers high blood.

I hope my BP is stable because since the pandemic ended I haven't checked it again. Your mind must be calm so that your BP does not spike too high.

I hope you can check your BP. My mind is calm during the time I have high BP. That's why I was able to get ice pack to put on my nape because I feel so hot
