I got a slow start this morning, so am just now getting back to mylot to put up a post. I did some notifications earlier while sipping on a cut of coffee. Then I took care of all the animals and tidied up in the kitchen.
We have a very cloudy day on tap here, but the good news is it looks like we will miss any rain. It is also not cold, with our high today supposed to reach 61F. That is fine with me. I'll just use my happy light today and be happy indoors!
The temperature will plunge later tonight with our low around 38F. We are expecting freezes Friday and Saturday nights and low 30's on Sunday night. However, the sun should be shining bright for the next 2-4 days. A warming trend will come back on Monday--YAY!
Rain chances on Tuesday, but will only be a sprinkle if we get anything. However, Christmas Day is looking to be wet with a 58% chance of rain.
How is your weather looking in your area? Will you have a nice and sunny day for Christmas or have rain like we are expecting?

Cold until Christmas, and then a warming trend. I imagine it will be quite warm for New Years.

I'd have to say we have a cold weekend ahead but will have our typical christmas.

It will be in the teens for a couple of days. Christmas looks like 40 with no precipitation. Have a good weekend.

@LindaOHio Right, going to make traveling take a little longer to get to destinations. As long as we arrive safe, that is all that matters.

@kareng Yes! It is difficult to move around when it is raining, especially if you have to go out to get something for the Christmas Eve celebration.Hehe

The high on Christmas Day here will be in the mid 50s here, which is fine with me. I’d rather it be colder, but at least it won’t be 72 degrees like it was on Christmas about three years ago. I need cold weather to even out the boiling temps during spring and summer.

@AmbiePam Yes, I hear ya! The temperature is dropping here and it has been comfortable all evening here in the den. I have a small heater by my desk because there is a terrible draft coming down the hall when hits right where I am sitting. It has a thermostat on it and it has dropped a degree. I'll be heading to bed soon! I'd rather be warm and cozy in bed!

The weather in my area is clear with the temperature at 61 degrees F. It might rain on Christmas day.

@kareng i always try to do that. and most of the times when i say "i will" - i end up going out for some reason hahah i'll do my best to stay warm
