The Norm Family Are Out

Looking out my window it is all gloom and grey. No sun. It's 45 degrees out. We have rain for the next few days. I don't mind a bit. I would rather have that than the white stuff.
Norm, Norma, and Norm Jr. were out and coming down as close as they could to my window. I looked out to see Norm staring down at me. I think he was hinting. They are so cute. I can tell which is Norm by his long tail. Norma is petite and Norm Jr. is hyper. I am ordering them some nuts when I get groceries on the 1st. We put stuff out for them but they always want more. It takes so much energy to walk the tightrope across the telephone wires. Hehe
Do you have squirrel friends?

I used to but now I have a possum coming to have leftovers at night, I do see a squirrel each day from my window running along a cable, He runs back and forth many times a day but I have not idea where he is running to or coming from,

We have the little fat squirrel that took all our garden produce two years ago... He's still coming around looking for anything we leave out for him. He makes a mess on the porch railing that I have to clean up... Mostly walnut or hickory nut shells. (I brush them into a dustpan and put them in the kitchen trash. I hate stepping on broken shells with bare feet.)

Love that Norm family! We rescued a runt squirrel and named him "The Little" because it was so small. It went back up our tree and was able to assimilate back with the family. But it is still on the small side, so we can recognize The Little - compared to other bigger 2. We do ask to be polite "Are you The LIttle?" no matter which squirrel comes by .

@celticeagle I have one that is relentless when she sees a squirrel or chipmunk. It took her a month to catch a chipmunk that was getting into the bird feeder. But she got it

No squirrel friends here. We have a chipmunk that lives in our flower bed. Have a good weekend.
