Sadder Side of YouTube

I am a big fan of YouTube. Alot of my viewing time is spent there. I hadn't thought of the negative side of it really until tonight. Several videos show a rather sad other side of this great online viewing option.
There have been YouTube bloggers who started out quite innocently to bring their views to the public and tell their stories. And, yes to make money. They begin to build their subscribers, get sponsors, etc. But with all this they had to make more and more extreme videos to keep their subs interested. Some actually end in tragedy. It is pretty sad. And there have even been some content providers who just disappear. Yes, you read that right. Extreme outdoorsmen have just disappeared. Weird, huh? I guess with all good things there are those that go too far.

And it is great for both of those. So easy for churches or organizations to upload their stuff onto the site. It is a great thing for communities.

Stricken down by harsh elements in remote areas more likely. But, aliens is always an option to keep in mind.

Sounds odd, I watch music videos and game shows and some movies but I am finding it harder and harder to fin things to watch for free,

YouTube is an excellent place to find all you listed. I search for different types of movies. Have many channels saved that have scads of movies on them.

That's for sure. Get bored easily too. They should have lived back when I was a kid. Didn't even have TV for several years.

My husband is the one that watches hours of YouTube. He hasn't run into any negative videos. Have a good weekend.

For the most part I really enjoy Youtube. I have found a lot of interesting videos to watch, but mostly listen to music.

Same here. I can find a favorite song preformed by the original group and back when they were first performed it.
