What makes you engaged with Mylot compared to other social media?

I have always the key difference between other social media platforms and Mylot has been unique discussion-based engagement, people and incentives. The like option is there similar to Twitter and Facebook. However, there is opportunity to talk more on the subject unlike others where the interaction could be brief comments.
People is my second observation – There is a sense of community and belonging and I am not sure if other platforms has been successful in that regards. The discussions are organic and people driven.
Third I felt is the financial incentive. There is an extra layer of incentive to users who contribute either in discussions or responses or both.
For me, I believe I come here for all three reasons and spend more time here than other social medias.
So, what makes you engaged with Mylot compared to other social media?

I think the thing about myLot that I like is that you don’t get to “choose your friends” to interact with here. You know most of the people you interact with on Facebook, but here you meet people that you didn’t previously know, which means people from different countries, different walks of life, different ages, and different backgrounds.
Plus, honestly, it’s nicer here. There’s not a day goes by that I don’t have to report some comment on Facebook (“Hi, I couldn’t help but notice your profile and would you please contact me, I’d love to be friends” kind of garbage) for harassment. You don’t get that here.

Thats a great insight. At other social medias , we usually choose the friends to interact with . Here at mylot , friends choose us, in all usual cases for interaction. Thanks for sharing!

To me this is a place you can have an actual conversation where as other social media sites are for just sporadic comments or a picture.

Yes, I like that we do not tear each other apart like they do on Facebook. I only had to block two people since I started here. One sent me a picture of his junk and the other was just a pest who never had anything good to say about anyone.

I rarely use other social media accounts. I have a Fakebook account but only use it to talk with a Filipino friend. I have a Discord account and use it to talk with two Indonesian friends. I have a WhatsApp account and use it to talk with several Indian friends. Only on myLot do I make comments and responses to people on the site itself. The other social media accounts are all private and nobody but the people I'm talking with and I can see them.

@RevivedWarrior Not true. When I first started talking with you, those were private messages. Nobody else could see what we were talking about.

I dont like other ones seems a lot of them are based on one very short comment followed by another not really like a normal conversation. and for me I don't like my phone or email getting blown up by hundreds of comments on other sights.

@RevivedWarrior true a lot of the other ones and just small meaningless comments or Meme's that I don't want to waste my time on.

Honestly, the payday. I need the momeny and mylot makes it easy to earn and engage. It's easy to stop what I'm doing to help my husband and pick back up where I left off.

Aside from what you said and what i mentioned to my older post similar to this.... Hehehe is that MyLot is not complicated to use an easy to understand how it works, unlike the other paid sites. I think you will agree to me on that.

i like being here because everyone's different. we don't have similar backgrounds, interests, lives and stuff. and compared to other social media, i follow different people, while on social media i follow only ones i know and who are similar to me. i can't say financial incentive has anything to do with it - i mean, it's good, but i rarely make minimum, so i don't think that's what makes me engaged here

Thats a very nice to put it across. We may not have similar backgrounds or lives and here we are talking and discussing among ourselves like friends. Great point. Thanks for sharing!
