Another One Bites the Dust

The Boise Towne Square Mall has been here in Boise since 1988 and featured about 150 stores. It opens an hour early each day for people who like to walk the place for exercise. It's anchor stores are Macy's, JC Penny, Kohl's, and Dillard's. It turned 35 in October 2024.
Sears closed in 2018 and about 19 other stores closed in December of 2023. Now Kohl's is closing in April.
It is rather sad to see them leave but that seems the way the country is going. So much business is done online nowadays. Do you have a mall nearby? Is it losing stores?

Cool. With online buying now a lot of stores went bankrupt. Sad but a sign of the times.

I haven't been to our mall in decades. We used to have a Sears but it closed years ago. Have a good day.

Same here. The places I liked to frequent are gone. They used to have a place where you could get soft pretzels. They were so good. Sears left several tears ago too.
