Nostalgic memory: The carbon copy paper

Carbon Copy Paper
India

While checking my school documents, found 2 carbon copy papers. It was nostalgic to see them. I was bad in drawing. It was tough to draw especially in biology class. Carbon copy paper was my saviour during those times. I would draw the diagrams with carbon copy paper and survive the assignments. There was a time most businesses and forms depended heavily on carbon copies for duplicating records. While it was effective, the writing could fade on time and with introduction of photocopy, carbon copy paper usage has significantly decreased. Very few firms now use carbon copy papers. Do you miss using carbon copy paper?

Back in the day these were the bomb dot com. Not sure what the appeal was. But I remember having lots of fun with things like this.

@RevivedWarrior I don't know why it was appealing, but seeing a copy of your handwriting or artwork was always, fascinating. lol

This was quite ubiquitous and well used in earlier years. My Father still has a few of these papers but rarely use them. I wonder if any shops or commercial establishments still use them.

Well, with photocopies and digital media , very less people and establishments use them. It is economical still compared to buying photocopy machines . Thanks for sharing!

I don't miss using it but I remember thinking it was quite magical when I was first shown it as a child.
