Delay

We were going to get that back room cleaned out tomorrow or Sunday, but it is raining tomorrow, and Sunday our helper plays music at his church. So Monday is the day.
Got most of my little closet done today, and cleaned out my cubby shelves on my desk. Took 2 bags of trash out to the roll out today. Tom took a few also.
My desk has been shipped, but won't be there until sometime between the 22 and 27th. Getting excited now. Movers will be here on the 27th. Hopefully the cold spell will be gone by then.

Moving is so difficult, I have moved so many times in my lifetime. So exhausting. How far away is your new home from where you are now?

We are only moving maybe 3 miles away. Not a long distance, but still hard work for us. 20 years ago we not only had to move OUR stuff...we had to move the former tenets stuff out of the new house. And we had to work our jobs. Now I am retired...Tom is semi-retired, and not the spring chickens we were 20 years ago.

No matter the distance, it's still hard work to move. When I moved the last time, my oldest son organized it all and trucked all of my belongings to my new place. I packed it all beforehand. What a ton of work...I know how it is to sort out belongings, and you are right, it's very hard work.
