This story is kind of unusual since the Mount Juliet Police Department in Tennessee when the officers pulled over a pizza delivery driver on Wednesday evening when one of their license plate reading cameras identified an auto that was driven by a male driver who was wanted by the police for failure to appear in court on drug related charges.
The Mount Juliet police officer who was not identified went to deliver the pizza to the home of the customer who ordered the meal as a gesture of community service which the customer who ordered the pizza was grateful.

So do I since I am sure that the customer thought that the police officer was coming to take her into custody.

@rakski I am in agreement with you that the police officer delivered a pizza to the customer after the alleged criminal was taken into custody.

That was kind of the officer, as most Policemen would have just eaten the pizza for themselves.

It is odd since it is not everyday that the police arrest a delivery driver on an outstanding warrant for failure to show up to a court date.

So am I since it is unusual for a police officer to deliver a pizza to a home after another officer took the alleged criminal to jail the same evening.
